Bytekind · For nonprofits
Find grants that actually fit the work you do.
Real public grants, ranked for nonprofit people. A short profile is enough to rank posted federal opportunities and start a first draft.
01
Describe the organization
Mission, cause areas, state, budget range, 501(c)(3) status, and who you serve.
02
Read real listings
Grant Finder searches posted opportunities on Grants.gov. It does not invent grants when the API is quiet or down.
03
Start from a reason
Each result has a fit score, a deadline, an amount, the source link, and a plain-English explanation.
How a score is made
The score is a fixed rubric. It weighs cause-area language, the people you serve, whether nonprofits are eligible, location limits, award size next to your budget, and the deadline. A listing that does not name nonprofits is marked likely ineligible. A past deadline is left off the list.
This search covers federal notices on Grants.gov. Foundation and state portals can be added later as separate sources. The first draft of an outline or letter of inquiry stays inside the facts on the listing — missing numbers stay in brackets. The free plan includes 5 live searches a month and 1 letter of inquiry. Saved lists, deadline reminders, and further letters are on Grant Finder Plus.
